“TAKE SOME TIME TO LEARN ABOUT FIRST AID. IT SAVES LIVES, AND IT WORKS.”
PowerPoint presentation based on the theme of “First Aid” had organized by the department of BMLS. All the students had actively participated in this. By this small activity all have learned so many things about first aid. Moreover, it explains when you provide basic medical care to someone experiencing a sudden injury or illness, it’s known as first aid. In some cases, first aid consists of the initial support provided to someone in the middle of a medical emergency. This support might help them survive until professional help arrives. In other cases, first aid consists of the care provided to someone with a minor injury. For example, first aid is often all that’s needed to treat minor burns, cuts, and insect stings. In short, First aid refers to the emergency or immediate care you should provide when a person is injured or ill until full medical treatment is available. For minor conditions, first aid care may be enough. For serious problems, first aid care should be continued until more advanced care becomes available.
