Creative thinking and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy during the activity“One Minute Presentation” held on 4th Of March, 2021 organised by “Fashion Design’’ Department, of “Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology”.
In the activity,numbers of slips with alphabets written inside were provided to the students,every student chose one slip and prepared a topic for presentation in the given 5 minutes and then presented his ideas in span of one minute.The competition started sharp at 09.30 A.M. at college campus with the explanation of rules and regulation to be followed during the activity
The “One Minute Presentation” activity,explored the student’s creativity, presence of mind and command over language all within a span of one minute. It invites the student speaker to speak on a given topic without hesitation, repetition or deviation. The participants of all the Fashion Design Department displayed their oratory skills and spoke empathetically on the allotted topics. This session provided a platform for the students to show their talent and expertise in impromptu speech and most importantly students selected the topic related to the fashion field which helped to increase the knowledge.
The competition was adjudged by Reps Ms. Prabhjot Kaur and Ms. Maninder Kaur and they appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the teachers. She also reiterated the importance of such activities which enhance extempore speech and spontaneity of students. Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, Director, SHIMT appreciated the students’ work, creativity & thoughts.
