RAKHI MAKING COMPITITION

To celebrate the forthcoming festival of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ the students of Fashion Designing Department of Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology organized ‘HANDMADE RAKHI COMPETITION’ on Wednesday, 22nd August, 2018. This is the festival of promise of love and everlasting relationship between brother and sister. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and exhibited their creative skills by using different material like ribbons, beads, threads and even waste material. Traditional ‘Rakhi’ designs were the major attraction of this competition.

Later on an exhibition of the ’Rakhis’ was also organised for the students and teachers of all departments. Jaskaran Kaur bagged the first prize. Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, Director, SHIMT appreciated the students’ efforts and congratulated the winner. Some staff members even bought the rakhis made by students. Everyone applauded for them and their efforts.
