“Research is what I’m doing when I don’t know what I’m doing”, with this motive a “ Market Survey ”   was held at “Shree Hanumat Institute of Managemet and Technology” by “Fashion Design” Department on October 23, 2021 for Fashion Design Department students.

Basically this survey is based on Fabric research for material exploration to understand latest fabrics available in market and to develop something new for garment designing. In market survey students interact with shopkeeper and get information related to fabric. They visit different local markets (Gushala market, AC market, Guudh Mandi ) and get good quality fabric swatches.

Students enthusiastically took part in the market survey. Students buy fabrics for their class work and they also buy other item such as a lace, zippers other. All the students participated enthusiastically.

On this occasion Director, Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, appreciated the students’ work & thoughts and congratulated the students.
