Diwali Mela was held at Shri Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology, Goraya. It was launched by the College Director Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma.Students from various departments showcased their art by furnishing candles, Diyas, gift boxes, decoration accessories, etc. The aim of the festival was to merge creativity with social entrepreneurship. Students and staff bought items from the stalls. The traditional food and games stalls also attracted huge crowds. Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma said; “An initiative has been taken by students to celebrate Diwali as an eco-friendly and eco-sensitive and to promote anti-cracker. In the end, the management, staff and students took the resolution of “Say No to Crackers and yes to life “.
