“Fashion is part of the daily air and it changes all the time, with all the events. You can even see the approaching of a revolution in clothes. You can see and feel everything in clothes.”
In order to transmit the idea of wider view of fashion to the students; fashion, brands and designers were taken up as theme for an activity named “fashion and me” conducted by the department of “Fashion Design” in “Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology” on November 6, 2019 for semester-3rd students. Students participated in this activity with great enthusiasm and expressed their imagination.
In this activity, students discussed their ideas about fashion, fashion designers and brands. The focus was on maintaining eye contact, Initiate discussion, Display subject knowledge and Listen to others. The language skills of the students were utilized in an adequate manner and students analysed how well they can communicate with others. It is a healthy practice to listen to others before presenting your point of view. This would reflect your patience and also the fact that you are open to hearing to what other people have to say rather than just bombarding or forcing them to abide by what you have to say.
Overall, on this day students got a platform to showcase their knowledge about fashion designers and brands. After which they were observed to fill with confidence.
