A doodle is an unfocused drawing made while a person’s attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes. To mark the beginning of the festive season, this time we thought to create something unique like Diya’s with doodle art. For this   Fashion Design Department held an activity on” Doodle Art on Diya’s” on 26th Oct 2021 for students.

The main purpose of this activity was to explore the students imagination, creativity and celebrate the Festival of Lights in its true spirit. The competition was based on doodle art and the theme was Mandala and students have to make Mandala on diya’s. The students used ivory sheets, cartridge sheets, Poster colours, Acrylic Colours, brushes, Diyas, stone and sparkles micro-tip pens, ceramic plates, murals and different colours. All students participated in the competition The students displayed their creativity by beautifully colouring and decorating the Diyas. It was sheer and a great experience for all our students.

These kinds of Workshops make students competent in handling practical work in the Designing environment. The main objective of the event was to include one more skill in their bucket of knowledge.
