A well thought-out cover design tells a lot to a person about the book without revealing every detail. Cover images are more than just decoration. They draw reader’s attention by telling the story of the book.

Department of Computer Science organized “Book Cover Design “activity.

The main objective of this activity was to engross the hidden talent of the students. All the students participated with great zeal and zest in the creative activity of Book Cover Design.  In this activity a number of creative and colourful covers were made by the students by using different designing tools that exhibited their creative skills.

The activity was judged by Mr. Manpreet Singh on the basis of originality. The designs were so creative and fascinating that it was very difficult to come out with a single winner’s name. Dr.Shelly Rekhi Sharma, Director, SHIMT appreciated the students’ work, creativity & thoughts and congratulated the winner.
