A concept board is a professional way used in the creative industry to convey the outline of one’s theme, It establishes the theme of the overall design and helps to stay focused on the whole design project. To bring out the creative expression of the students and also to gauge their awareness quotient, an activity on making of “Concept Board” was organised at “Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology” on 25th of September, 2019 in “Fashion Design” Department.

The activity boosted the divergent thinking among the students as they had to decide how to display and express their thoughts. The main objective of the event was to engross the hidden talent of the students. The students displayed their artistic skills through the display of images on their chosen topics. These are usually mounted on large boards so a group of people can easily see them. Concept board presentation is necessary for the students to built their confidence.

Students have taken active participation and enjoyed the event and have also learned the art of performing in team as well as expressing themselves without actually speaking. Viva was taken by Ms. Prabhjot Kaur to check their knowledge. Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, Director, SHIMT appreciated the efforts, creativity and hard work of Students.
