Collage is a technique of an art production, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms. A collage may sometimes include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, paint, bits of colour or handmade papers, portions of other artwork and so on. Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology has organized a “collage Making Competition” on 24th September, 2018, where the students of Fashion Designing department participated and came up with their talent in artistic forms. The competition started at 01:00 p.m. All the participants brought the newspapers, magazines, scissors and other raw materials and grabbed their seats. Participants were given ample opportunities to showcase their creativity followed by the theme. All the students participated enthusiastically along with competitive spirit.
The students were judged by Ms. Prabhjot Kaur. The criteria of judgment was Creativity, Theme and Presentation. Jaskaran Kaur got the first prize. Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, Director, SHIMT congratulated the winner. Later on Students displayed their collage on notice board.
