BUZZ SESSION
This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, safety takes priority. But nothing can stop us from learning something new. “Fashion Design” department of‘’Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology”, organized an online activity “Buzz Session” on 21st Sep 2020.
In this activity the Students were divided into five groups and each group had to speak on a given word related with fashion. But the chance of speaking depended upon spontaneity. The team which pressed the buzzer first got the chance of answering. The main focus of the activity was to improve public speaking skills, subject knowledge, confidence and critical thinking.It helped to break the monotony and emphasised on creativity.
All the students participated enthusiastically and every student within each group contributed her thoughts and ideas on the given topics without hesitation.Encourage, discussion and collaboration were the three keys which I observed among students within each group. Everyone learnt something new from each other’s input. But it was a competition and TeamA- Jaskaran Kaur, Jasmine Mehmi, Gurpreet Kaur, won this competition with their extra buzz during buzz session. Our Director Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, appreciated the students’ knowledge and congratulated the winners.
