“Creativity, as has been said, consists largely of rearranging what we know in order to find out what we do not know. Hence, to think creatively, we must be able to look afresh at what we normally take for granted.”— George Kneller. In order to make students  aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future,  ‘Best out of Waste’ activity was organized by Fashion Design’’ department, In “Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology” on 6th November 2019.

Best out of the wastage is one such craft which follows this environmental friendly principle and at the same time creates useful and picturesque objects out of waste products. Students prepared very creative and innovative models and art items with mind-blowing, fantabulous ideas from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable materials like newspapers, plastic bottles, bangles, threads, beads, ice cream sticks, foil paper, and many more items. It was amazing to see how scrap could be transformed into such useful and beautiful articles. The creativity and artistic streak of the students were observed.

The students were judged by Ms.Prabhjot Kaur. Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, Director, SHIMT appreciated the students’ work, creativity & thoughts and congratulated the winner.
