Industrial Visit was held by “Fashion Design” Department of “Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology” at “R.B Knits Exports, Ludhiana” on Sep 18 th ,2023 . The Visit was based on Knit research for material exploration to understand the latest fabrics available in the industry  to develop something new for garment design.
During the visit, students interacted with Mr. Sonu Kumar (Fashion Designer) and tried to get Maximum information related to Yarn store, manufacturing unit, Hand knitting machines, pattern making, grading machine, over lock machine, buttonhole machine, washing, steam press, finishing, accessory (embroidery, etc.), labelling, packaging and export. Fabrics, trimmings, and latest materials used for different categories of garments (Women’s wear, Men’s Wear, and Kid’s Wear). They visited different departments to explore their knowledge and also collect different swatches of fabrics. The Visit was based on Knit research for material exploration to understand the latest fabrics available in the industry to develop something new for garment design.
