“Ragging is a crime, not a tradition. Let’s build bonds, not fear.”
Anti-Ragging dedicated to fostering an environment of respect, safety, and camaraderie in our institutions. Ragging, which once might have been dismissed as a “rite of passage,” has, in reality, left deep scars on many lives. It’s not just a harmless prank or a tradition—it is a violation of an individual’s dignity, a breach of trust, and, most importantly, a crime.
“As per UGC guidelines, Shree Hanumat IMT marked Anti-Ragging Day on August 12 with an orientation session, inaugurating Anti-Ragging Week (August 12-18). The session enlightened students on:
– Definition and forms of ragging
– Severe consequences and penalties
– Legal provisions and punishments
– Importance of a ragging-free environment
– Roles and responsibilities in preventing ragging
Students were made aware of our zero-tolerance policy and encouraged to report incidents anonymously. We’re committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all.”
